DATA SCIENCE WITH DENNIS · THE DENNIS METHOD FOR YOUR RESUME

Privacy Notice

Effective October 12, 2026 · Version 2026-10-12.2

Who operates this service

The Dennis Method For Your Resume is operated by Data Science With Dennis LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. We decide how personal information is used in this service. Contact privacy@datasciencewithdennis.com about privacy, access, corrections, deletion or complaints. This notice is effective October 12, 2026 and applies to every user, including invited users.

Information we collect

We collect the career details and contact information you choose to enter; your interview messages; AI replies; inferred or confirmed skills, responsibilities and experience; your corrections and preferences; and generated resume versions. We also store a random browser-session identifier, notice acknowledgment records, and operational information such as request counts, AI token counts and response timing. Our hosting and security systems process network information such as IP addresses and technical error information. Please do not enter government ID numbers, passwords, financial account details, medical information, confidential employer material or unnecessary personal information about other people.

Why we use it

We use information to conduct the career interview, organize your knowledge bank, generate and revise resumes, return your saved work to this browser, respond to support and privacy requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot and improve the service. Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on performing the service contract for requested functionality, legitimate interests for proportionate security, support and service-quality review, and legal obligations where applicable. We do not use this acknowledgment as blanket consent for unrelated processing. Any future activity that requires separate consent will ask for it separately.

Human review

Dennis Salguero and authorized people helping operate the service may read interview conversations and generated resumes to resolve problems and improve interview quality, prompts and functionality. Do not treat this as a confidential conversation with a licensed professional. Access is for those service purposes, not permission to publish your story or use it as a testimonial. Human service review does not mean every resume has been personally checked by Dennis. Contact us to object to improvement-related review; we will consider the request and applicable rights.

AI processing and providers

When you use the AI interview, we send your messages and relevant career-bank context to Anthropic's API to generate replies, discoveries and resume selections. This can include details shared in earlier turns. DigitalOcean hosts our application and database in the United States. We use these providers to operate the service; we do not send your resume to employers or apply for jobs for you. We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There are no advertising pixels or third-party analytics integrations in the current application.

Model training and provider retention

We do not run model-training jobs on your interviews or intentionally submit them to optional provider training or feedback programs. Anthropic states that its commercial API content is not used for model training by default, except where the customer opts in or submits qualifying feedback. Its standard API policy generally retains inputs and outputs for up to 30 days, with exceptions for matters such as abuse enforcement and legal requirements. Provider retention is separate from our database retention. We do not promise zero retention by Anthropic or instant deletion from a provider's systems.

How long we retain information

We retain your interview, career knowledge bank and resume versions until you ask us to delete them so they can support continued resume work. We do not currently apply an automatic inactivity-deletion schedule. The 30-day browser cookie is not a server-data deletion deadline. Clearing cookies or starting a new interview does not erase previous interviews. Operational counts without interview content may remain after deletion. Fair-use counters use a keyed hash of your network address (an IPv6 network prefix where applicable), not the raw address, and can group people sharing a network. They stop limiting requests when their minute, hour or UTC-day window ends. Counter windows older than two days are removed during subsequent successful admissions; they may remain longer while the service is inactive. These counters contain no interview text and are separate from global daily usage totals. If a specific legal obligation requires retaining particular information, we will limit that retention to the required purpose and explain it where permitted. Provider copies follow the provider's retention rules, and copies you downloaded or shared are outside our control.

Cookies and browser access

We use one necessary first-party cookie, resume_session, to recognize this browser's interview. It lasts up to 30 days and may be renewed when the site resumes your session. It is signed, HttpOnly and Secure on the hosted site. Blocking or clearing it can prevent you from returning to saved work. The cookie is an access mechanism, not an account: use a trusted browser, do not share browser access, and download your resume before clearing cookies. We do not set advertising or optional analytics cookies. We do not currently track activity across other websites; Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals therefore do not change any sale or advertising-sharing practice, because we do neither.

Your choices and requests

Use Privacy & your data to download the current interview's data or permanently delete that interview from the active application database. Resume files in the privacy export remain PDFs. These controls work without asking the AI. A new interview has separate data; the controls do not automatically cover older interviews or another browser. Contact privacy@datasciencewithdennis.com for other interviews, lost browser access, corrections or other rights requests. Keep your privacy reference when contacting us; it helps locate an interview but is not itself proof of identity. We may ask for proportionate information to verify ownership before disclosing or deleting data. Do not send passwords or government ID documents in an initial request.

Rights for international users

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent for activities that rely on consent. We respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any refusal and available appeal route. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. The service drafts resumes for you; it does not make hiring or employment-eligibility decisions about you.

International processing and security

The service is based in the United States. If you use it from another country, your information will be processed in the United States and may be processed in other locations used by our providers, where privacy laws may differ. We use HTTPS, restricted administrative access and browser-session isolation, but no internet service can promise absolute security. We will use legally required transfer mechanisms where applicable; this notice is not a substitute for those arrangements. Contact us for information about relevant provider arrangements.

Adults only, updates and contact

The service is for people aged 18 or older. Do not use it if you are under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it. We publish updates with a new version and effective date, and provide additional notice of material changes before new uses where required. New material versions require another start acknowledgment.
